
Categorising Abnormal Repetitive Behaviour
Although the words "Abnormal Repetitive Behaviour" or "Stereotypy" are used a lot in the media and animal facilities, there is actually much more to defining and categorising these behaviours than meets the eye. Each different type of ARB usually has significantly different welfare implications, so in order to treat them the critical first step is to work out which one is taking place.
